This was me, 2014. I hadn’t run a mile in my whole life and I decided that I wanted to see what I was still capable of – so I decided to take up running. I signed up for my first half marathon before even knowing what I was getting myself into. I tried a few training programs before I found the ones that helped me cross that finish line and then go on to do many other races including the Dopey Challenge in 2018 which consisted of a 5k Thursday, 10k Friday, Half Saturday and Full Sunday – 48.6 Miles. Given I was able to do all of this with Lupus I feel confident that these programs will work for anyone! Strap on your shoes and read on!

I consider myself a work in progress at all times – working towards a goal – then raising the bar. This company has many programs that will allow you to explore many different types of work out programs depending on your level of fitness, flexibility, and goals. I can guide you through the various options and help you find a workout that you look forward to. I had a customer tell me the other day that she just got back from vacation and missed her workout – can you imagine saying that? That can be you!
Food is everything. Ok, maybe I’m being a little dramatic but what you eat makes or breaks your workout. I hear from people all the time – “I’m working out all the time – why am I not losing weight?” Well unless they have a medical problem the answer likely lies within their nutrition. Beachbody programs each come with a nutrition guide that you can easily adapt to your eating. I personally have been on a food journey for the last 10 years, collecting recipes, reading books on nutrition and health. I’ve made it my personal mission to try and eat better for me and my family and look forward to sharing some wonderful recipes and lessons with you. More to come on the food front in 2018!
